Have you thought of writing your posts in Scribefire (or similar WYSIWYG blog post fabricating browser add-on)? It reduces dealing with the lunacy of blogger to a min.
I thought I'd lost several in the past, but luckily Blogger has the draft auto save thing that TimeShadows mentions. It's saved me more than a few times.

Have you checked to see if Blogger has retained a Draft copy?
--Look at your Control Panel at Edit Posts.
If you haven't disabled autosave, there ought to be most, if not all, of it there.
